“These photos were removed from several SD cards that were found in the car of a car burglar suspect. There were no names on the cards or the case in which they were found. There are over 1,000 photos on the 4 SD cards. The photos range from scanned images from the late 1960’s to a European vacation trip in October of 2011.

I would like to get the SD cards back to their rightful owner. It appears that the owner grew up in or near Gering, NE. The SD cards were recovered in Memphis, TN on November 15, 2011.”

I work at the admissions desk at the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia, PA. Back in late April or early May 2011 I had just started there and I found the attached photo on the floor in front of the ticket desk. There is a date stamp on the back that says May 1983. I held onto it for the rest of the day in case anyone came back looking for it, but when nobody did I put it inside the book I had been reading at the time. I just discovered your site and figured it was worth sharing if anybody was looking for it.

On the MemoryStick are photos and videos of a family in a stadium at a play of Manchester United (17.10.2009), during a journey through the Eurotunnel with their car on the train (20.10.2009). In addition there are pictures of the jouney to Thailand and a meeting with two thai women (11.01.2010), riding on elephants and a cake (12.01.2010) in the Sunset Village Resort.

All the pictures were taken by a Sony DSC T-100 and for sure the owners a native english-speakers (as they speak english on a private video driving into the Eurotunnel-train). The memorystick now is in Austria!”
“My best friend and I were driving through Texas along the 287, between Dallas and Amarillo. We saw some camels in a field by the road, and pulled over to take pictures of them. Clearly, we weren’t the only people who felt compelled to stop, because we found a disposable camera on the side of the road.

This was sometime early August of 2006. I think it was on the southbound side of 287, as I seem to remember turning around to get closer and park. It appears to have been lost by 3 girls on a road trip, and there were only 9 or so photos on it by the time I found it, one of which is of a framed picture in a motel room (it must have been funny at the time?).”
