Opportunity of a Lifetime

Opportunity of a Lifetime

Hello,
This past summer, I took an opportunity of a lifetime. I quit my well paying, career beginning, job to go to Europe for two months. I have never been one to take huge risks, but I was at a point in my life, that I needed a change.

Those two months were the best months of my life. I saw things I never imagined I would be able to see in my life. I opened my eyes to the world.

I had a great Cannon EOS DSLR camera with me the entire time and managed to take over 4000 photos. I stopped in Denver before I finally reached home in Scottsdale, AZ. While at Denver International Airport, I placed my camera bag (with my multiple memory cards), on the chair next to me. I boarded the plane without it. I will never understand how I managed to forget my most important possession, but I did.

I called the airline, and airport, everyday for over a week, hoping and praying someone would turn it in but no one ever did. I don’t even need my camera back, I just want the memory cards. Please help me find my camera.

Thank you for listening. Five months later, this still makes me cry.

This is heartbreaking. I hope it is returned to you…

Or, that some generous person see’s your story… and gives you all the money you need to go back and travel your same footsteps over again. :)

The only problem with this Unclaimed Baggage Center is that I believe I saw on the news that they remove the memory card and sell the camera’s. :(

Don’t lose hope. My luggage was stolen on a trip to New Zealand in 2010 and I still hope that someday I’ll stumble across my memory card here.

The important thing is, like you said, those months were the best months of your life. Pictures or no pictures, nothing can change that. :)

  4. Don’t quit calling, I lost my drivers license at DIA in pick up. Four days later I called back and a police officer had it in his coat pocket and turned it in after his weekend off. Good luck

Reading that, makes ME want to cry. I left a large bag of priceless souvenirs in costa rica and I know how it feels. Good luck to you!
